How do I book a tattoo with you?

You can book a tattoo a few different ways: through the consultation form on this website, by sending me a DM on Instagram, or in person at the studio. During the consultation we’ll go over your idea, placement, size, design direction, and any questions you have before locking in an appointment.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Tattoo pricing depends on the size, level of detail, and placement of the design. During your consultation, I’ll give you a personalized estimate based on your specific idea so there are no surprises.

Where are you located?

I’m based in Olathe, Kansas, and regularly work with clients from the Kansas City metro area, including Overland Park, Shawnee, Lenexa, and Kansas City, MO.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit goes toward the final cost of your tattoo and reserves your time. Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please let me know with at least one week’s notice.

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

A little preparation goes a long way:

  • Get a good night’s sleep and eat beforehand

  • Bring snacks — protein and sugar help keep your blood sugar balanced

  • Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol or blood-thinning medications for 24 hours prior

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area

Long sessions can be quiet at times while I’m focused on detailed work, so feel free to bring an iPad, Switch, Steam Deck, audiobook, or anything else that helps you stay comfortable. Blankets and pillows are always welcome.

Do you accept walk-ins?

I work by appointment only to make sure each client gets the time and attention they deserve. That said, if you’re hoping for a same-day appointment, feel free to reach out — I’ll do my best to accommodate if my schedule allows.

For same-day inquiries, contacting the studio by phone or stopping by in person is usually the fastest option. I typically respond to emails and website inquiries after hours.

How do you ensure cleanliness and safety?

I follow strict sanitation and safety protocols for every tattoo. All needles are single-use, equipment is sterilized, and the studio meets all local health department regulations. I consistently go above and beyond standard practices to make sure every client feels safe and comfortable.

Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Pain varies depending on placement and personal tolerance. Tattoos can be uncomfortable, but most clients find the experience manageable. I’ll always do what I can to keep you as comfortable as possible throughout your session.

Can I bring a friend to my appointment?

Because of limited space and the need to avoid accidental bumps during tattooing, I ask that friends not stay for the entirety of larger sessions. That said, visitors are welcome to stop by briefly and say hello.

How do I care for my tattoo after the appointment?

You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions at the end of your session. Following these steps is essential for proper healing and keeping your tattoo looking its best long-term.

Can you tattoo over scars or cover up old tattoos?

Yes — I offer both scar cover-ups and tattoo cover-ups. Every situation is different, so we’ll go over your options during the consultation to determine what’s possible.

Can I bring my own design?

Absolutely. Reference images are extremely helpful during the consultation process. Just keep in mind that tattooing is both an art and a trade — designs often need to be adjusted to work properly in skin. I approach every piece as if I were getting it myself to ensure the best possible result.

Do you tattoo minors?

No. I only tattoo clients 18 years or older, even with parental consent.
